The hearing of a dispute over alleged maladministration by Richtersveld community leaders has been postponed to next year.
Friday was the return date in the Kimberley High Court for an interim interdict postponing the annual meeting of the Richtersveld Sida! Hub Communal Property Association (CPA).
The CPA is the community body that fought and won a multi-million rand land claim, and that is now overseeing the implementation of the historic settlement.
However, lawyers said the matter had been postponed by agreement to March 25. An interim order blocking the annual meeting would stay in force.
The CPA has rejected claims of irregularities.
